Te Mahia is a stunning and sun drenched bay on the Southern shore of Kenepuru Sound with separate motel accommodation or hotel rooms in the heritage building. It looks directly across the Sound to the golf course and a water taxi can have you near the course in a short space of time.

The Portage Hotel

A favourite resting spot on the Queen Charlotte Track, the Portage is a THC group hotel well set up for groups as well as individuals, couples or families and offers full hotel facilities with easy water access and shuttle from Picton. It takes an hour to drive to Nopera from Portage, and the alternative water taxi ride offers world class scenery.
